Color Skills for Dynamic Paintings - Any medium
Cherry Studio - 760 W. Riverview Dr. Idaho Falls, ID 83401

June 14 ~ 16 2009

This workshop concentrates on the skills needed to critically analyze your subject matter and plan your background before you begin to paint. We will discuss effective backgrounds, including the use of soft or “lost” edges, color harmony and color temperature.

Learn to evaluate color, what color do you actually see? What color should you use to give your painting punch? How about color temperature? Learn to understand it.

Whether you are painting from a photo or nature, Cherry explains how to use color to make your painting cohesive and interesting.

For every painter, beginning to advanced, any medium.

Fee: $225 - visa and mastercard accepted - a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a space in this class. Contact Mary Ann Cherry at (208) 524-1284 to register.

A complete material list is available upon registration.
